A Rock Band Forged In The Steel City

Faster the Chase are a heavy rock band from Sheffield merging influences from the likes of Thrice, Fightstar, Reuben, Finch, Alter Bridge, Biffy Clyro, Twin Atlantic and Young Guns to name a few.

The origins of the band started back in 2002 when Omar, Nate Matt & Scottie formed the band Fallout. The band played numerous gigs across the city and recorded 3 well received EPs, before splitting in 2006.

From here, Omar and Scottie formed the band NCI, and Nate joined Tiananmen where he met Jamie.

Jamie eventually began performing drumming duties with both bands until each outfit lost members in 2010. The remainder of members joined forces, merging into one band and re-recruiting Matt on keys along the way; Faster the Chase was born.

With members from numerous Sheffield bands, current and past, (NCI, The Monday Club, Tiananmen, Fallout) Faster the Chase will be recording their first EP in 2013, and gigging in a City near you soon!
