Danielle Louise Thomas is a 23 year old Mezzo Soprano from Waterloo, Liverpool who enjoys Singing anything from Classical to Show Tunes and putting a Classical Spin on Popular Songs.
Danielle began singing lessons at the age of 9. Trained by Local Teacher Mr Gerald Hunt, she was a prize winning soloist in Local Festivals in Merseyside. At the tender age of 11, Danielle was asked to perform on BBC's 'Songs of Praise' singing Cat Steven's Version of 'Morning has broken' accompanied by the legendary Rick Wakeman. In 2002 Danielle was offered a place at the Junior School of the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where she studied voice and piano. At the age of 14, Danielle was runner up in 'Merseyside Young Singer of the Year' and just a year later she sang the Soprano Role in Vivaldi's 'Gloria' in Chartre Cathedral.
In 2007 Danielle featured as a Soloist for six nights at the 'Spirit of Christmas' Concerts at the Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Professor Ian Tracey.
Danielle began singing for the City's Civic Events in 2009. A versatile Soloist, Danielle is in great demand around the North West. She recently supported Sony's Classical Trio 'The Priests' in a Concert for St Josephs Hospice, known as Jospice at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral.
